I have been in the theatre my entire life and many, many of my closest friends during my entire life are gay. Notably, in the Playboy interview, I stress my longstanding support for Gay Rights and specifically Gay Marriage. Like most other contextual things in that story, that part was conveniently left out. I was honored to appear as a presenter at Outfest, the LGBT film Awards ceremony to present James Shamus with his lifetime achievement award—another place where I publicly and loudly announced my support of gay marriage.”
